I’ve been chasing this 1982 Honda XL 250r for a few days now. I may actually be able to grab it tomorrow.
If the guy answers his phone this time.
Craigslisting be fun!
(Edit.. I actually have a 2 wheeler but it hasn’t been on the road since I bought it from Dad and it is for sale.)

That’s a nice bike! I love old dirt bikes but I love those 3 wheelers more!
I just got a Warrior for $500. It’s complete but it needs everything worked on. Engine/drivetrain/cosmetic/wiring. Im going to verify it runs/rides tomorrow (hopefully) and then strip it to the frame and do a full resto on it

Sweet! I had a 350 Raptor that was basically the same machine. $500 is a flat out steal even with the maintenance needs.
I like to stick with trikes but a good deal is a good deal. My keepers are always from the 80s though. This 660 Raptor is solidifying my need to stick with 80s stuff..

I saw the carnage from that motor! Yikes!
This will be my first time rebuilding/ restoring anything so Ive got a lot to learn but I figured Warrior’s are pretty simple & its alot cheaper than a project car so this will be a good learning experience.
I figure even if I put $1000-1500 into it I will have a nice quad for the money. Plus all your 3 wheeler posts have been making me want to get back into wrenching and wheeling!

Way cheaper than a car. Sounds like you’re on the the right track.
Thanks for the thanks on wheeling. That makes me want to thank the friend that got me back into Trikes.
